How to Lose 5-10 pounds in 20 days?

Ok, my 21st bday is coming up soon and I have been slacking on trying to lose weight. Im pretty smart when it comes to exercising and eating right, its just getting that routine down. How many calories a day should I consume, and still be healthy? I was thinking around 800-1000 plus 30 min. of exercise a day? I need answers from other young moms out there, I have a 3 year ancient son, and I am just needing some kind of exercise moves, or diet secrets!!!!!!

    If you are only consuming 800-1000 calories per day and exercising, you’re going to seriously jack up your body and metabolism. If you starve yourself like that and keep exercising, your body will reckon it needs to conserve every last calorie and your metabolism will slow waaaay down.

    Depending on your height and weight, somewhere between 1200 and 1600 calories per day is appropriate, at a minimum.

    What type of exercise do you do? If you’re just doing cardio, try doing some strength training with light weights. Pilates is also a fantastic way to give you lean, long muscles. Remember that muscle helps burn calories, so strength training is essential.
