how to lose 5-10 pounds. would riding my bike do the trick?

although im not overweight i want to loose a small weight. its not around my stomic mostly just my theighs. my friend keeps argueing that i dont need to. i want to do this healthy. but i kno id be no excellent at the whole "calorie counting" thing and that probably wouldnt work with my crazy life. would riding my bike everyday help? how long a day? i dont eat much quick food as it makes me sick. i dont want to loose any weight on my stomic because its fine there its just the thighs i want to loose ehh a couple pounds off. i know im supposed to get a bunch of healthy food but i dont reckon were able to get it. things are pretty hetic. so i guess my question is will riding my bike every day or other day help me loose a small weight?
i dont want to loose too much it would look yucky.
ps- i would NEVER do weight loss pills.

and i dont eat the same amount of food each day

thats no way to live XD (the same food everyday) X_X lol
hm i wouldnt really know where to ride my bike. lol this town is lame.

    if i were u i would focus on toneing ur muscles and getting stronger- not just losing weight…. but if u want ti lose the weight i would say just eat smaller parts of food and work more fruits, vegtables, and proteins into ur diet…also so u kno when u lose weight u cant always pick and choose where u lose it…so start making ur legs stronger….if u dont like ur town im sure there is plenty of bike/walking trails in ur area that you could use…and if u are gonna bike- go for about 40min-1hr a day if u want to see results
