Try to avoid terrible carbs from sugar and replace them with excellent carbs from leafy vegetables and fruits. 3. Cutting calories can give you a long term weight loss Really cutting calories often results in long term weight gain. Give yourself a moment to consider the reality of what is known as “energy homeostasis” and you will readily see this is right. Energy homeostasis is a term that describes the many systems your body has to regulate how much energy (or food) you eat.
